YouTube’s Broken Future Is YouTube that amazing? Of course one can find a plentiful amount of content ranging from, gaming, tutorials, reactions, news, commentaries, and etc. YouTube is increasing in popularity, and getting bigger by the second. This video sharing platform can supply individuals with many more programs than any television program can offer. YouTube has become bigger than television according to Time magazine. Time magazine states that â€Å" And these days, with teens thinking YouTube stars are bigger celebrities than the cast of the Big Bang Theory, it’s only a matter of time before public access takes over all the airwaves.† The largest television show has been compared with the largest YouTube channel, and the conclusion might surprise you. The extremely popular TV show, True Blood, has 13.6 million in total viewers watching the program. But, the most popular Swedish gaming channel, Pewdiepie, has a whopping 48.5 viewers on average. Pewdiepie triples the viewers a popular world wide television show has. Video sharing has indeed become a gigantic phenomenon. Although YouTube may be an enormously popular, not many people know the true corruption of YouTube. Yes, content creators such as Pewdiepie go through some kind of stress and abuse. Many of them even get cyber bullied by the very community that watches them.
