College essays exist to allow hopeful, applying students a chance into admissions. This chance gives them the opportunity to express who they are, and their reasons for wanting to attend that specific college. In these essays, a student would communicate their reasons for wanting to attend the college, and certain qualities they could bring to positively support the school. Essay questions such as why that school would benefit the student, how that student has shown abilities in areas such as academics, and community involvement. I hope to attend, and therefor am applying to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. This school has proved to properly fit my needs in that it offers a Master’s in Library Science (MLS), is located in North Carolina, and reasonably fits my financial range. I believe I can benefit this school, and this school can benefit me. I also believe that qualities I contain are worthy of supporting this University. A few characteristic I contain that will positively influence the college are my tireless work ethic, my compassion/concern for the University as well as the community, and lastly my determination to complete tasks well and correctly, which has been instilled in me from birth.
